3. Manage risk proactively. Surface risks early and attach an immediate, tactical countermeasure to each one. A risk without an owner and an action is just a prediction of the problem you will have later.
4. Build the team, not just the plan. Engaged, accountable teams outperform managed ones. Coaching and clear ownership turn a group of contributors into a team that catches problems before you have to.
